Swindell Leads Iowa Speed Week Points

KNOXVILLE, Iowa – After night eight, when Brian Brown won the second night of the 53rd FVP Knoxville Nationals, Kevin Swindell took the lead in the 2013 Cox Design & Metal Fabrication Iowa Speed Week point standings.

Night number nine is Friday with the SPEED SPORT World Challenge feature at the famed Knoxville Raceway. Kevin Swindell, Jason Johnson and Shane Stewart have all qualified for the SPEED SPORT World Challenge feature.

The unofficial top fifteen in the 2013 Cox Design Iowa Speed Week points after eight nights is as follows: 1., Kevin Swindell, 243 points; 2., Kyle Larson, 240 points; 3., Brian Brown, 239 points; 4., Jason Johnson, 193 points; 5., Shane Stewart, 191 points; 6., Brad Sweet, 184 points; 7., Justin Henderson, 179 points; 8., Danny Lasoski, 175 points; 9., Scott Winters, 170 points; 10., Terry McCarl, 156 points; 11., Brad Loyet, 151 points; 12., Don Droud, Jr., 148 points; 13., Brandon Wimmer, 144 points; 14., Wayne Johnson, 140 points; 15., Randy Hannagan, 139 points.
