TBJ Promotions Sets 2014 Even Schedule
OWASSO, Okla. – TBJ Promotions has announced its 2014 schedule of events, which includes five winged sprint car races at four tracks in three states.
Four of the TBJ Promotions races are with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour, the premier 360 sprint car series in the country.
“We have some events that have been mainstays since the inception of TBJ Promotions,” said TBJ promotions founder Tony Bruce Jr., “However, you also have to evolve and we’re very excited for a couple of changes and additions in 2014.”
The first event of the season will be the Eagle Motorsports Rock ‘N Roll 50 on May 3 and will feature the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour at Riverside Int’l Speedway in West Memphis, Ark. 2014 marks its sixth straight season on the TBJ Promotions schedule.
On Friday, May 8, TBJ Promotions and RacinBoys Co-Founder Scott Traylor will promote the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour’s return to Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan. It will be the first ASCS National Tour event at the track since 2008 and only the third visit ever.
Three weeks later, on Sunday, May 31, Eagle (Neb.) Raceway will host the famed Hinchman Racewear Eagle Nationals and the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour. This will be the fifth consecutive year the Hinchman Racewear Eagle Nationals will be a TBJ Promotions event.
The Steve King Memorial, which has been an annual TBJ Promotions event since 2009, will shift to Dodge City (Kan.) Raceway Park and be held on Saturday, June 28. It will be an NCRA/ASCS Sooner Region race.
On Thursday, Aug. 21, Riverside Int’l Speedway will put on the final TBJ Promotions event of the season, the Midsouth Showdown with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour.
