USCS Reveals 44-Race 2013 Schedule

ATLANTA – The United Sprint Car Series has released a 44-race schedule of events for the 2013 racing season.
The 17th anniversary USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour for winged sprint cars will visit at least 30 different dirt and paved ovals in nine states during the 2013 racing season while contesting championships title chases in three divisions during the for 2013.
Highlights of the 2013 United Sprint Car Series season include the return of the series to paved track events. There are five of those paved track performances on the schedule, including a special event on the quarter-mile Thunder Ring at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Aug. 30 during the Labor Day NASCAR weekend at the track.
The United Sprint Car Series drivers are scheduled to compete in a 50-lap main event just after the Sprint Cup cars qualify on Friday evening.
Other highlights of the 2013 USCS schedule include the 8th annual USCS Sprint Speedweek from May 25 through June 1, The 248 Ival Cooper Memorial at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byrum, Miss., on Oct. 18-19 and the USCS Fall Nationals season finale at Riverside Int’l Speedway in West Memphis, Ark., on Nov. 1-2.
The United Sprint Car Series will contest a National Championship based on points accumulated at all events to declare an overall champion. The series additionally has two more championships up for grabs in the United Sprint Car Series Mid-South Thunder regional series and in the United Sprint Car Series Southern Thunder regional series.
