PERRIS, Calif. – Damion Gardner continued his winning ways in AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series competition by scoring his third-straight victory Saturday night Perris Auto Speedway.

Fresh off of a pair of victories Cocopah Speedway in Arizona last month, Gardner made sure to keep his hot streak alive Saturday at Perris. Cody Williams took the lead at the start of the 30-lap feature, giving up the top spot on lap four to defending series champion Mike Spencer.

Spencer didn’t stay there long as Gardner charged to the front, bypassing Spencer on lap nine to take the lead. Once out front that was all she wrote as Gardner pulled away to his third-straight series victory.

Spencer finished second and is thus far winless in USAC/CRA competition in 2013. Nic Faas, Cody Williams and Austin Williams completed the top five.

The finish:

Damion Gardner, Mike Spencer, Nic Faas, Cody Williams, Austin Williams, Rip Williams, Markus Niemela, Bud Kaeding, Richard Vander Weerd, David Cardey, Matt Mitchell, R.J. Johnson, Mike Martin, Jace Vander Weerd, Brody Roa, A.J. Bender, Charles Davis Jr., Seth Wilson, Jesse Denome, Billy Blinn, Josh Pelkey, Austin Smith.
