Clauson Keeps Momentum Going At Perris

PERRIS, Calif. — Bryan Clauson’s record winning pace maintained its momentum Saturday night as he scored his ninth USAC feature victory of the year.

Clauson won the Sokola Shootout AMSOIL USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series feature at Perris Auto Speedway.

The night’s fast qualifier in Mike Martin’s No. 16b, Clauson took the lead when leader Mike Spencer blew an engine on lap eight and led the remainder of the 30-lap distance on the half-mile dirt track.

Damion Gardner finished second with Nic Faas, Rickie Gaunt and Cody Williams filling the top five.
