Clauson Strikes Again In Sin City

LAS VEGAS — Three-time USAC National Drivers Champion Bryan Clauson continued his strong start to the season, winning Thursday night’s USAC Southwest and West Coast Sprint Car Series feature at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas.

Driving the Martin No. 16b, Clauson grabbed the lead from Ryan Bernal on lap 23, leading the final three circuits of the four-tenths-mile dirt track for the victory.

Clauson had already won USAC sprint car features in Florida and Arizona this season.

R.J. Johnson, who defeated Clauson during the recent Copper on Dirt, finished second with Richard Vander Weerd, Rusty Carlile and Shon Deskins completing the top five.
