Dominant Bernal Scores At Kings

HANFORD, Calif. — Ryan Bernal dominated the proceedings in racing to his fourth USAC West Coast Sprint Car Series victory of the season in Saturday night’s Cotton Classic at Kings Speedway.

Bernal was the fast qualifier on the three-eighths-mile dirt track and charged from the third row to take the lead from Richard Vander Weerd on lap 21. He paced the remainder of the 30-lap race in the Ford No. 73.

Vander Weerd finished second ahead of Andy Forsberg, Don Gansen and Austin Liggett.
