Gardner Sprints To Perris Glory

PERRIS, Calif. – Damion Gardner took the lead on lap 14 of the 30-lap AMSOIL USAC/CRA feature Saturday night at Perris Auto Speedway, and never looked back.

Gardner sped to the win over Kevin Thomas Jr. and Austin Williams, who surrendered the top spot after leading laps 2-13. Matt Mitchell was fourth with Jake Swanson fifth.

Mike Spencer was fastest in qualifying.
