Nichols Controls Western Midget Go

MADERA, Calif. – Chad Nichols dominated Saturday’s USAC Mopar Western Midget Series event at Madera Speedway.
Nichols set fast time for the 30-lap feature and finished second in the lone heat. Once the feature started, he was untouchable as he wired the event to pick up the victory at the third-mile asphalt oval.
Nick Chivello was second, followed by Scott Pierovich, Shannon McQueen, Frankie Guerrini and Alex Schutte. There were only six cars in the field.
