Rain Pushes Hoosier Hundred To Friday

INDIANAPOLIS – The Hoosier Hundred, the season opening round of the Traxxas USAC Silver Crown Series at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, has been reset for Friday night after morning rains and an afternoon shower left the grounds extremely wet.

“We anticipate sunny skies tomorrow,” said Series Coordinator James Spink. “That will allow race organizers at the Fairgrounds to properly prepare the grounds and race track to provide the optimum experience for participants and race fans.”

Pit gates will open Friday at noon and the grandstands will open at 3 pm. Practice starts at 5, followed by qualifying at 6.
