Rain Stops USAC Midgets At Tri-City

PONTOON BEACH, Ill. – Friday night’s portion of the 4th DuPont USAC Mopar National Midget Series Gold Crown Midget Nationals have been cancelled due to heavy rains.
The event will conclude at Tri-City Speedway on Saturday night. A total of 48 cars competed during Thursday night’s preliminary, with Tracy Hines winning the 25-lap feature event.
