Rutherford Wires Western Midget foes

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Troy Rutherford was untouchable during Saturday’s USAC Mopar Western Midget Series event at Bakersfield Speedway.
Wheeling the No. 86 midget, Rutherford grabbed the lead on the opening lap of the 30-lap feature and was never seriously challenged for the remainder of the event.
Ronnie Gardner was second, followed by David Prickett, Cody Swanson and Robby Josett.
