Spencer Takes Charge Late At Watsonville

WATSONVILLE, Calif. — Defending USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series champion Mike Spencer came strong at the end and won his fourth race of the season Friday night at Ocean Speedway.

Spencer romped around Ryan Bernal on lap 21 of the quarter-mile dirt track and raced away to victory.

Bernal finished second with Matt Mitchell, fast-qualifier Rip Williams and Austin Williams completing the top five.
