USAC’s Smackdown Finale Pushed To Sunday

KOKOMO, Ind. – Rain has forced this year’s AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series Stoops Freightliner-Quality Trailer Sprint Car Smackdown III finale, originally slated Saturday night, to be postponed until Sunday at Kokomo Speedway.

The AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series will take to the track at 4 p.m. for hot laps after gates open at 2 p.m.

Earlier Saturday Dave Darland won the previously postponed Smackdown III opener that was rained out on Thursday by besting Justin Grant. The victory moved Darland into a tie with Tom Bigelow at the top of the all-time AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series win list.
