Hubler Testing With Gerhart At Daytona
COPLAY, Pa. – In nearly two weeks Pennsylvania native Scott Hubler makes his debut behind the wheel of an ARCA Racing Series entry at Daytona Int’l Speedway during the annual December ARCA test in a car fielded by Bobby Gerhart Racing.
Hubler, a multi-time champion in the INEX Legends Car Series at Mountain Speedway in St. Johns, Pa., is set to build on his racing resume in his debut with Bobby Gerhart Racing at the ARCA Racing Series open test Dec. 20-22, 2013 at Daytona driving a Bobby Gerhart Racing prepared Chevrolet.
“When I was offered the opportunity to test a car for Bobby Gerhart Racing it kind of took my breath away at first,” Hubler said. “I plan to be a sponge and absorb and learn all I can from Bobby and his crew. I was told, simply, just to get in the car and go out there and drive.”
In Daytona with Bobby Gerhart Racing, Hubler will spend his time on the 2.5 mile circuit gaining experience in drafting and single car runs.
“We are excited to have Scott on board and we are looking forward to working with him,” said Gerhart. “His passion and dedication to this sport gives me great confidence in him and I look forward to working with him and having him a part of Bobby Gerhart Racing team for the test.”
