Leg Injury Sidelines Anderson Bowen

SALEM, Ind. – Fifteen-year-old Anderson Bowen, who is currently third in the ARCA/CRA Super Series standings, will be forced to miss four to six weeks of action because of a leg injury.

The injury occurred while on the beach in Daytona Beach, Fla. Bowen will miss the upcoming Redbud 300, plus series events at Lucas Oil Raceway on July 26, Berlin Raceway on Aug. 3 and the Aug. 11 event at Madison Int’l Speedway.

According to Bowen’s father, David, Anderson has a fracture in his lower right leg were it meets the ankle. Bowen is in a cast, which he is scheduled to wear for four to six weeks.
