Mason Mingus Earns First ARCA Pole

IRVINGTON, Ala. – Mason Mingus earned his first ARCA Racing Series pole Friday evening, setting fast time for the ARCA Mobile 200 at Mobile Int’l Speedway.

Mingus put down a lap of 17.634 seconds at 102.076 mph in the No. 32 Win-Tron Racing Toyota to earn the pole. Alabama native and local favorite Grant Enfinger qualified second in the No. 90 Ford. Both drivers will be attempting to win their first ARCA events during Saturday’s race.

Anderson Bowen, making his first ARCA start, qualified the Cunningham Motorsports Dodge in the third position. Two more drivers making their first ARCA starts, Kyle Benjamin and Taylor Ferns, qualified fourth and fifth respectively.

Nine-time ARCA champion Frank Kimmel, Josh Williams, Tom Hessert, Justin Boston and Spencer Gallagher completed the top-10 in qualifying.
