Münter & Venturini Motorsports Join Forces
CONCORD, N.C. – Female driver and environmental activist Leilani Münter has announced a partnership with Venturini Motorsports for the upcoming ARCA Racing Series season opener at Daytona Int’l Speedway.
Leilani Münter, coined the “Carbon Free Girl,” will drive VMS’s No. 55 Go 100% Renewable Toyota in the Feb. 15 Lucas Oil 200.
Leilani’s ‘Go 100% Renewable’ themed race car is a joint sponsorship effort between Lighting Science Group and ZeroBase, two of the companies leading the development of cutting edge technologies within the Renewable Energy space.
Why talk about renewable energy at Daytona?
“The race track is one of the last places people would expect us to discuss renewable energy, and that is exactly why it’s where we need to be,” said Münter. “It’s time people start hearing about renewable energy solutions that save you money while protecting the environment.”
Driving for Venturini Motorsports, Münter will join teammates John Wes Townley, Justin Boston and Mark Thompson.
