Reddick Tops Final Day Of ARCA Test
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Tyler Reddick, in the No. 22A for Cunningham Motorsports, led the way in two categories Sunday during the final day of ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards testing at Daytona Int’l Speedway.
The Corning, Calif., native, who currently resides in DuQuoin, Ill., posted the top speed in afternoon drafting, and completed the most laps around the “World Center of Racing,” making 57 circuits around the 2.5-mile superspeedway. Reddick circled Daytona in 49.146 seconds at 183.128 mph.
Cunningham Motorsports was also second on the speed charts today with Reddick’s teammate, Austin Wayne Self, completing a one-two sweep at the top for Cunningham. Thomas Praytor, Jacob Engle and Shannon McIntosh completed the top five in Sunday’s afternoon session.
Eight-time Daytona winner Bobby Gerhart topped the speed charts in single car runs during the morning session at Daytona, circling the venue in 49.565 seconds at 181.580 mph. Tom Hessert of Cunningham Motorsports followed Gerhart on the charts. Mark Meunier, Mason Mitchell and Sean Corr completed the top five in the morning session.
