Weather Changes DuQuoin ARCA Schedule
DUQUOIN, Ill. – As a result of heavy rain stemming from Hurricane Isaac’s progression through the Midwestern United States, ARCA Racing Series officials have changed the schedule for Monday’s Southern Illinois 100 presented by Federated Car Care at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds.
All activity will be moved back three hours, allowing the mile-long dirt oval more time to dry before Monday afternoon, when warm and sunny conditions are expected.
The ARCA Racing Series garage will open at 8:30 a.m., with the driver, crew chief, and spotter meeting following at 11 a.m. On-track activity will begin with practice at noon and last for one hour.
Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell will start at 2:15 p.m., and the 100-lap, 100-mile race is expected to go green at 4:30 p.m. All times are Central.
