Zehr Still Leads ASA National Standings

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Since the 2013 ASA Member Track National Championship standings debuted five weeks ago there has been one constant, Norway (Mich.) Speedway’s Dalton Zehr atop the standings.

Zehr runs the late model division at the third-mile asphalt oval and currently sports a 3.4881 average.

A new face is Jeremy Lepak of State Park Speedway debuting in the national standings. He is the third different driver from the Wausau, Wis., track to be in the 2013 ASA Member Track National Championship top five standings since they debuted five weeks ago. Lepak jumped into second with a 2.8444 national championship average running the Super Late Models at the quarter-mile asphalt oval.

Positions 3-5 remain unchanged this week with Ryan Stiltner (Lonesome Pine Raceway), Brian Blevins (Newport Speedway) and Shelby Stroebel (Meridian Speedway).

Due to a spring and summer that caused significant weather issues for many track operators, these standings are still considered early in the season and it is anticipated that significant change will be seen in the coming weeks.
