ARCA/CRA Washed Out At Winchester
WINCHESTER, Ind. – Winchester Speedway officials were forced to postpone Monday’s final day of the Labor Day Weekend World Stock Car Festival after persistent sprinkles and rain showers most of the day.
The event, which included the ARCA/CRA Super Series, Top Speed Modifieds, Top Speed Fabrication CRA Late Model Sportsman, CRA Street Stocks and the Vores Touring Compacts, has been rescheduled for Sept. 23.
Pit gates will open on Sept. 23 at 8 a.m., practice will begin at 10 a.m., qualifying will begin at Noon with racing beginning at 2 p.m. with a 20 lap Vores Touring Compacts feature, followed by a 40 lap Top Speed Fabrication CRA Late Model Sportsman feature, then a 100 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series feature, a 40 lap Top Speed Modifieds feature, and a 40 lap CRA Street Stocks feature ending the day.
Winchester will allow teams to unload their equipment and cars in the pits on Sept. 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. to help elevate some of the rush to get everyone in on Sept. 23. Race team members will need to bring their pit bands from today’s rainout to receive a pit band for Sept. 23. Fans will need to bring their ticket stub from today to receive a ticket for the September 23rd event.
