DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Marshfield 100 ASA Midwest Tour event held on June 30 marked a milestone for the six-year-old series.

The Tour held their 65th event at Marshfield Motor Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Marshfield, Wis. It was also the 65th event for ASA Midwest Tour regular Nathan Haseleu.

The 34-year-old from Marshall, Wis., is the only driver to compete in all of the ASA Midwest Tour feature events since the series started in 2007. He won the championship during the inaugural season.

Overall, he has six fast qualifier awards, four wins, 30 top-five and 49 top-ten finishes in those 65 starts.

“We have run every event since the ASA Midwest Tour started and been lucky enough to make every race as well. It has been fun,” Haseleu said. “I have seen some drivers come and go in this series. It is neat to see the series grow along with watching the younger drivers get better.”

He has also enjoyed watching the ASA Midwest Tour grow as a series overall.

“I think the organization and the quality of cars has always been good,” Haseleu said. “But mainly there are a lot of younger drivers now, than there were six years ago, they are real good and come to run with us every week.”

When asked about his favorite moment in ASA Midwest Tour competition, Haseleu was quick to give an answer.

“I would say when we won at Jefferson (WI) Speedway in 2007,” he said. “I grew up racing at the track. It is where I got my start and it was cool to win my first ASA Midwest Tour race there.”

He also said that he enjoys traveling around and racing at the different tracks. Some of his favorites included Iowa Speedway, Raceway Park in Shakopee, Minn., Marshfield Motor Speedway and Wisconsin Int’l Speedway near Kaukauna, Wis.

Haseleu doesn’t show any sign of slowing down. In fact, he left Marshfield only 66 points behind current point leader Jonathan Eilen.

No matter where he goes to compete, he is always a contender.

“Nathan, along with his co-owner Joe Hunter, have been great supporters of the ASA Midwest Tour since the beginning and it is great that we can share this milestone together,” said Tim Olson, ASA Midwest Tour president. “I hope we can share more milestones like this as we continue to move forward with our fans and competitors. It is an honor to have Nathan Haseleu competing with us at each event.”
