UARA-STARS Postponed At Anderson

ANDERSON, S.C. — The UARA-STARS Late Model Stock Tour announced this morning that Friday’s event at Anderson Motor Speedway in South Carolina has been postponed due to impending inclement weather.

The makeup date will be announced with an upcoming announcement that includes the reschedule of two other rain-delayed events and a long-standing TBA date on the tour’s schedule.

“I really think we made the right decision to postpone due to the impending weather forecast,” said Kerry Bodenhamer, president of the UARA-STARS tour. “It costs so much for our teams to tow their equipment to two consecutive races that will probably be affected by rain, and we are always looking out for our teams and trying to save them money. It’s also not fair to our fans to sit around waiting on race day trying to make decisions based on uncertainty of a weather situation that we have known was coming for a few days. We’ll reschedule this date and do everything within our power to have a stellar race day on the new date.”
